STEMpower

ST[EMpower] Kits!

Designed to meet the needs of a classroom teacher, each ST[EMpower] Kit includes:

  • curriculum
    • aligned to Colorado Academic Standards to fully meet the science standard as well as incorporate math, reading writing and communicating, social studies, and art as appropriate.
    • incorporates at least one aspect of scientific process (usually incorporates the entire scope of the scientific method) as presented through the experiential learning method
    • tested and evaluated by teachers
    • provides the supporting conceptual framework for developing a well-rounded science knowledge base to prepare all students to understand science for making informed decisions in their lives to preparing for STEM careers.
    • each lesson includes an activity on introducing students to STEM careers
  • equipment and consumables needed for the lessons, but do not include items that are commonly found in classrooms (i.e. art supplies, scissors, etc.).
